Frequently Asked Questions
For Sellers
How do I list my vehicle?
Create an account, click "Add New Vehicle," and fill out the vehicle details including photos, condition, and asking price. Your listing will be visible to verified dealers immediately.
How do I receive offers?
Once your vehicle is listed, dealers can submit offers through the platform. You'll receive email notifications and can view all offers in your seller dashboard.
Can I negotiate with dealers?
Yes! You can now negotiate back and forth with dealers through our counter-offer system. Click "Negotiate" on any offer to start a conversation, make counter-offers, and add comments to explain your reasoning.
What happens after I accept an offer?
You'll be connected directly with the dealer to arrange inspection, payment, and vehicle transfer. Offer To Car does not handle these arrangements.
How does the negotiation process work?
When you receive an offer, click "Negotiate" to start a conversation thread. You can make counter-offers, add comments explaining your reasoning, and set expiration dates. The full negotiation history is preserved so both parties can track the conversation.
Can I withdraw or modify my counter-offers?
You can withdraw your own offers if they haven't been accepted yet. However, once you submit a counter-offer, you cannot modify it - you'll need to make a new counter-offer if you want to change terms.
Are there any fees for sellers?
Currently, listing vehicles and receiving offers is completely free for sellers.
